The university she attended dropped her after much consideration to pursue the career path of entertainment. She was determined to perfect her acting talents and performed in several low-budget films to demonstrate her talents. While it wasn't an easy path, her pure willpower and perseverance were not unrewarded. She received recognition fame and positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began.
