Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray is a popular American musician, singer writer, and musician. Her parents are Billy Joel, a singer/songwriter as well as Christie Brinkley, a model. Joel is a New York native who has followed in her parents' passion for music and fashion. She formed her own music group at 19 and began performing live on stage for the very first time at Hoboken New Jersey. In the following years she quickly grew in fame and became one of today's most promising stars. In 2006 Joel released her first extended performance Sketches. In December 2009 she was admitted to hospital following ingestion of an excess amount traumael. After making a full recovery her spokesperson told reporters that she did not want to end her life.
